A widely contested Police bill in England would prohibit the Traveller communities to use any land which they do not own. This new bill would give the police power to fine people and take their vehicles and trailers, it also threatens them with three months of imprisonment. Campaigners claim that this would affectively prohibit any lifestyle associated with Traveller and Roma people, or in short, would punish people for being a Traveller. The pictures were taken in the recent Gypsy, Roma, Traveller led Drive2Survive rally in Manchester on the 2nd and 3rd of October 2021.
