In a rural town in Hungary, a state-owned mine towered over a gypsy community. After heavy rains caused a devastating mudslide, the Gypsies' homes were buried. The government, with the help of the state-controlled media, falsely classified it as a natural disaster in order to avoid responsibility. Although they promised, the government ultimately did not compensate the Gypsies. The operator of the mine was not held responsible either.
